As a new believer finding a Bible believing church was very important to my family.   We visited several churches that were true to God’s word in their teaching however, they were not a fit for my family.  We were looking for a church where we could build relationships.  When we came to Alta Canyon Baptist Church we were welcomed warmly and by the end of our first Sunday we felt like we were where we belonged and we had found our home.  As we continued to attend, I found I could not wait for Sunday to come back around so that I could continue to learn more about God’s word and grow in my relationship with the Lord.  Pastor Tim teaches the Bible by breaking scripture down verse by verse and giving a little background and historical information to enhance our knowledge and understanding.  Questions are welcomed and answered in depth and without judgement, no question is insignificant.  I can honestly say coming to Alta Canyon changed my life and continues to change my life.
